Foss National Leasing utilizes a multi-disciplined approach when it comes to remarketing. We believe by using all available distribution channels we can effectively command higher values. Our remarketing team has the ability to recognize immediately which avenue is best suited to dispose of each individual vehicle thus maximizing your return while disposing of the asset in a timely manner.

Maximizing Resale Returns

There are many factors involved in maximizing the return to you the client and we at Foss National Leasing will leave no stone left unturned. Strong business partners, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and professional staff, low overhead and the ability to provide the end user with as much information as possible are the keys to your success when it comes to remarketing.
Our remarketing facility is not a profit centre but merely a location that enables our staff to negotiate one on one with both potential wholesale and retail buyers. Vehicles are reconditioned by onsite employees and mechanics (if needed) to control costs. There is no potential for outsourced costs to be marked up and passed on to you.

The Power of Information

Foss National Leasing is the only leasing company in Canada that provides maintenance history (for those clients utilizing the Foss Maintenance card) and CarProof vehicle history reports.
It has been our experience that dealers have paid maximum money for Foss vehicles knowing that they are purchasing a product they can stand behind as well as obtaining selling tools they are able to utilize to enhance their own sales opportunities.

Client Communication

Communication is the key ingredient in any relationship and we feel that it is no different when it comes to remarketing your vehicle. We notify you ahead of time of any potential problems or issues that affect either an individual vehicle or your fleet in general.
Any expected loss exceeding a parameter set by you the client is explained to you before the vehicle even goes to sale allowing you to weigh out all options.
Annual bulletins are sent directly to you informing you of the current condition of the market and what trends we expect to see in the future. This is valuable information that allows you to make proactive decisions that will have a positive affect on your fleet.

Benchmarking

Returns – Are measured against Market Value Guides such as Canadian Black Book and both Adesa and Manheim weekly auction reports.

Accuracy – A reserve is set by our staff prior to any vehicle going up for sale regardless of the channel used to sell. We measure our reserve price against the actual sale price to ensure we are aware of market trends and developments nationally at all times.

Conversion Rate – We measure our monthly conversion rates against Adesa and Manheim’s monthly conversion rate by region. Not only will we measure against the entire auction but break it down specifically to Fleet and Lease consignment as well.

Days To Sell – Days to sell are measured to insure that we are selling vehicles in a timely manner to avoid undue costs to our client while keeping our inventory fresh and attractive to potential buyers.
